In this role, you will contribute to the planning and execution of the brand strategy, through the creation and development of visual design systems and digital consumer experiences across a range of platforms in an iterative environment. You will be responsible for the development of art concepts in the production of websites, digital assets, digital touch-points while working within the creative development team to maximize the efficacy of the User Experience / User Interface (UX/UI) experience for all Qatar Airways customers engaging with the airline in a digital environment.
You will also be involved in providing input and working with internal and external stakeholders, including teams working on web site design, app design, web video, social media, and banner advertising with the goal of enhancing, streamlining, and creating a consistent Qatar Airways digital UX/UI for all customers in order to improve brand loyalty and retention, conforming to minimum industry standards, while striving to differentiate and set new industry benchmarks.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, new media information technology (UX Design, Multimedia Design, GUI Design and Testing, IA Tools) or digital marketing. You will need experience in animation and motion graphics and video production processes, including After Effects and Premiere. You should also have experience in Cinema 4D, Maya or similar 3D programs.
You will have a good understanding of concepts and terminology of modern web development, digital and interaction design and knowledge of design fundamentals including typography, grids, layout, color with the ability to communicate your ideas through graphics, photography or illustration.
