Job Description


  • Understand the key business processes, identifies business requirements and priorities.
  • Responsible for aligning IT applications and Infrastructure landscape with business requirements.
  • Own end to end project Execution including scoping, functional requirements, solution mapping with applications, risk identification and risk management, User training, deployment and transition to support team.
  • Periodic update to business functions on IT initiatives related to their business function.
  • Facilitate issue resolution with various parties including IT Sub-functions and business functions for smooth operation.
  • Take the lead in bringing new technologies to solve functional challenges.
  • Closely coordinates with various departments (e.g. Finance, Project Management, Fabrication, HR, Supply Chain Management, etc.) and IT Sub-Functions for getting input, consolidating and updating all stakeholders.
  • Successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines in a results-oriented environment.
  • Business Expertise: Applies understanding of the EPCI, Manufacturing, Oil& Gas industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance and fulfill business needs through IT tools.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve highly complex, non-routine problems and coordinate troubleshooting efforts from the various teams into a cohesive solution. Enhanced root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities in the business process, suggest improvements to current processes and demonstrate a cross-functional approach to problem resolution.
  • The candidate must have worked on a large scale ERP (Oracle/SAP) implementation project involving integration, IT Infrastructure deployment across multiple systems, geographies and networks.
  • Should have led a team in 4-5 End to End implementation of large scale ERP Integrations.
  • Very good understanding of the business processes in SCM, Manufacturing, Operations are required.
  • Understanding of Maintenance, Finance, HR, planning processes would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in implementation of applications like Oracle, SAP (HR, SCM, Finance), Hexagon's suite of end to end applications like SmartPlantMaterials, SmartPlantConstruction, Oracle’s Primavera would be added advantage.
  • Experience in ‘Requirement till deployment’ of COTS as well as in house developed software will be added advantage.
  • Experience of working in a global cross-functional matrix team environment across multiple time zones and multiple organizations is highly desirable.
