Responsible of writing interesting contents (verbal or textual) that complement and/or extend the visual element(s) of advertisements, to influence the behaviors of the clients’ target/ audiences with respect of the commercials’ offering
Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
Understands the client’s objectives and demands, the target audience and competitors, and the creative brief to compose original copy material that will promote or sell a product
Collaborates with the project’s team as necessary to consider and determine the advertising requirements.
Contributes to brainstorm sessions, offering creative solutions for the assigned print materials with consideration of all available parameters
In developing the material for copy, ensures that it identifies creative concepts, and effectively communicates rationale and answers the creative brief
Presentation of Copy for approval:
Persuasively presents the copy, showing how the message is written can improve the target customer’s experience and deliver results as the client wishes.
Updates and/amends campaigns/contents according to the feedback received
Development of Final Copy material:
Upon obtaining signoff and approval by the head of copy, proceeds with the development of the final content while working with the creative team and coordinating the production phase of the campaign
Coordinates with the creative team on the tone and the style to ensure that the content of copy is up to the standard required and in compliance with the agency’s policies and guidelines
Carefully proofs and edits all printed materials for accuracy, spelling, and grammar before delivery to the client
